I have been working here in Qatar for just 1 year. My contract says "unlimited" my ID will expire this Feb 4. From the start my passport is with my sponsor and I do not have a copy of my contract. I have tried to look for a job and fortunate to find one. I have already handed my resignation effective immediately . My problem is that my sponsor will not give me NOC, what can I do?
Wait go to human rights commission and complain they will help you or go to labour department they will help u
You made a wrong decision of resigning ..Company won't provide NOC now & thus you cannot join another company ..
You will get a 2 year ban.

It is illegal for your employer to have your passport in their possession. You must report this to the police. You cannot do anything if your brainless and heartless employer will not give you NOC. You either cancel your visa and exit the country and you will be banned from obtaining a working visa for 2 years.....or continue to be a slave of this employer.
@ mesam, how is it safe and ok if the passport is not with you? Its a violation of your rights and abuse of your passport since it belongs to your country.
Which company will I will stay?current or new one? the new employer or sponsor will provide me visa.
Stay with company and take right decision . If u are with company they will arrange visa and RP .passport is not with you its ok it's safe 33505743 .
