HELP
hi, can you help us, we are connected in one company in here Qatar, but now our HR Department wants us to sign a waiver states that we have to pay a training fee paid to the trainor of the software.
moreover, this waiver wasn't presented prior to the training. Upon singing of the contract there is no training fee was mentioned. the waiver has a lot of lapses, there is no date and the amount to be paid.
can you help us? where can we ask for help here, coz we dont where to go now. ive been here for 7 months already. fyi, even IQAMA we are paying.
we need your help. i guess the company dont wants us not leave coz, all of my colleagues wants to leave upon completion of one year here. coz the company is not good.

thank you for your answers. there very much appreciated..
hope we can resolve this issue as soon as possible..
what is the best thing to do go to the Labour Dept. or human rights dept? which is which?
do you happened to know any contact details for said department?
thank you in advance.
Best possible solution to shake your company management is to resign all together and approach Labor Office.
Once you file the complain that you guys are paying for your residence permit, the company will be in deep sh*t...
So dont wait more, advice your friends to join you and put resignation ASAP and approach Labor Office.

Paying your own residence is illegal.
Signing a waiver for training is quite common. The company want to protect their interests and investment in you, however they should stipulate a time frame, say 1 or 2 years.
i think you should consult a lawyer and raise your concern to the Ministry of Labour... hope all gets sorted out..
please help....
