I was almost convinced if not for the fact that they kept mentioning how they are a US University and the guy's English, although much better than the average person I've met in Qatar, still needed some grammatical improvement. Still, it would have been a great program to join had it been real. So has anyone had any experience with them? And how come I keep getting emails and phone calls like these all the time since I arrived in Qatar. This shit never happened in UK. Dont they have a non disclosure policy anywhere here? I dont get where they got my contact details from.
I play along (since they havent mentioned anything about money yet) so I tell him its very interesting and anything else he wants to hear. Today I'm asked to get in touch with an agent from the University via their website's live chat. So I do. The guy explains everything to me in detail. It all seems amazing. The website looks professional, the curriculum he mentioned, everything. And then he mentions the fees, followed by a scholarship of 50% to 75%. And then a so called "Presidential Scholarship" where I would have to pay a one time fee worth around 15% of the first amount he suggested. It all just seems too desperate.
A few days ago I received a call from an Agent from Acapell Advisory saying they wanted an updated version of my CV to help me with my job search. I dont remember applying to them in the first place, but then again I've been applying to so many places that I've lost track.
So I send them my CV, 2 days later I get a call from the guy explaining how he has a job for me in Oman, but they ask for 5 years experience (which I dont have) so he suggested I join Westland University and complete an online Masters course, and that I am eligible for a scholarship with that university and that they would get me a really good job paying between 4000 and 7000 USD.

So I am very sceptical at this point...
