I wake up this morning, and start my day off with a few phone calls.. or atleast thats WHAT i had planned!
i send a msg, and see that great old response of "message not sent" something barred or whatever.
i try calling, then got that recorded msg:
your service has been temporarily suspended.. please call 111..
So i call qtel knowing ive just paid a heaploads just a few weeks back, wondering what the hecks going on, and apparently it turns out, theres a problem with the main server.. and theyre "sorry". with all due respect to all the customer service personel, but WHAT THE HELL AM I GOING TO DO WITH A "SORRY"??
ATLEAST try to give me some kind of assurance, or any legit info about when its gonna get fixed!
And from 7:30 am since, ive got as much sorrys as bush deserves to give out to the rest of the world!
Only one of them was smart enough to tell me, "in about an hour" to get me off her case..
the moral of all this is;
If we dont pay ALOT MORE than everyone else around the world usually pays, it wouldnt have been so annoying. but the thing is THEY DO CHARGE US SO MUCH MORE THAN THEY SHOULD so they should ATLEAST give us some decent service!
Speaking of, a few years back, i was still using a prepaid line. I had just recharged, and was trying to send out this msg. But i got the wonderful - "msg not sent" pop up on my phone. So i tried over and over again. Till a while later, i realize i ran out of credit! So i call the fellows at qtel and explain what just happened, and the exact reponse was:
"ma3lish yakhoy, Allah yi3awad 3aleek"
meaning, sorry brother, may Allah reimburse you.
Ok that is true, BUT NOT the kind of response you should say to someone PAYING you money that your "accidently" wasting due to your own mishaps!
ok, kinda feels good to shake some of that off my shoulders.
So, has anyone else here been going through the same problems today?

Hahaha!! Shame!! Awful service here in Qatar and to think Q-tel has one of the highest call rates!! Well, I have an issue with Dohabank. I will post my rants soon. Oh btw, Karwa sucks as well!!!
