Flooring Options – Marble / Vinyl / Carpet

Dear QL Members,
I’ve recently moved to a 2 BHK apartment. The flooring out there doesn't seem to be good enough and has been covered with a carpet lay on the top.
I intend to have the complete carpet removed, since I’m not comfortable with the idea of carpet (tough to maintain / allergic / smell etc...). Kindly advice on alternate flooring options for me to choose from. Is it advisable, to go with Vinyl flooring or should I prefer Marble flooring.
Considering a low cost budget, appreciate if someone can guide me in the right direction and, if possible, advise how much it might cost to get the flooring works done for a standard 2 BHK apartment.

Save your money . Put down vinyl and invest in shares .. Joys
Vinyl would be best choice at this moment .......... Go for light brown shade with a tiles like pattern of more lighter brown to off white shades ..........
There should be tiles beneath the carpet. Remove the carpet and get a cleaning company to remove the glue from the tiles. And - don't invest any money in the house. It will be lost money.
