hi dear friends,

My family is here in Qatar under family visit visa finished 3 months duration now. I can extend it for 3 more months as per usual procedure. Here i have a doubt with another isssue.I have resigned from my company and waiting for settlement. Company agreed to settle money and cancel visa witin one month or couple of days more. Anyway my qatar ID is going to expire within 4 days. Company is not going to renew my ID due to resignation. The HR people told me that there is no issue to cancel visa and you can leave QATAR within ID expiration time .They told that 3 months without fine duration is there so you dont have to worry and you can return within one month. Here my doubt is I would like to keep my family with me herein QATAR for one month more also. And i think i can cancel visa and book a ticket and fly wid my family to my home country . Is it possible ???Please help somebody.

Arc, Do not play with the rules . Be serious . Send your family home today. You prepare to leave in 3 weeks time. Think future. Leave Qatar with a happy note without making any story ........ Never mix up your job with the family affairs ,,,,, remember it ..........

Yes, it is possible. Suggest you go immediately to the passport & immigration office and get the extension done. Don't waste a single day. Don't disclose you have resigned. They can then leave along with you. I think what your company HR people are saying is correct.
