Family Resident Permit
My Wife is in qatar on visit visa. I want to convert visiting visa to RP . My salary is above 10000, have house rent agrement and 6 months of bank statement with me. My occupation on visa is Surveyor. Does occupation is also criteria for applying RP??. Do I need any other document .

Kindly advise also, as I have been trying to get my family an RP but my application was not been accepted yet and I was being told that my visa (General Supervisor) do not match my college degree (Business Management) I have been trying for the last 3 months and will try again next week. Any advise please as my family have been staying with me for the last 10 years and it would be very very difficult for my daughters to be separated from their Father. Thank you.

Raj, Nothing to worry about profession , My profession is technician and am a Diploma holder. Many of my friends told technician profession is not eligible for family RP. Still I got it without any issues.
Just simply go and apply, if they accept wait for few days, else ask the reason and correct it
even the first person reject it go next day and submit in different counter or diffrent office :)
Ya, Sandy is right, I think, u need to try once, may be they accept it.
My colleague told me its not possible with surveyor occupation . I need to get it changed to engineer/ similar occupation . I am an engineer by profession and have an engineering degree, Just want to double check this occupation requirement.
No issues, Go ahead... just ensure ur eligible for position with ur education qualification
