Family Residence / Visit Visa

It would be great if someone could help with information on this or at least point to where should I look for it.

I applied for a family residence visa for my wife, which got rejected and was then given a date for an interview. Meanwhile, I applied for a visit visa for her and she entered Qatar using that visit visa. I also got her medical done for the purpose of visit visa extension. Now, the residence visa has been approved following the interview. Now what I need to know is whether she will have to exit Qatar and re-entry on the new residence visa to be able to process it further or can I simply head to the immigration department for the stamping of residence visa?

You have to cancel the visit visa. Then, proceed with the resident visa process. There is no need for exit if you go through the right channel. Good Luck!
