exit from doha

hello frnds..!! i need help and want to know that a frnd of mine is living in doha and is on visit visa sponsored by his brother. he applied for a job in a comp. and after 2 and half month he has got a call from the company that his work visa has been issued but the same is not been stamped on the passport. and now he wants to return home because of some emergency will he be able to exit without facing any problem. or he need to take NOC from the company. but the work visa has not been stamped on his passport..so pls help and guide.

Correct.He's on work visa now. But if he has doubts, just go ask the company. If So he must go to the company and do what I said about getting the exit permit he wants. Either a exit permit, if he is not coming back to the job, or the exit to re-entry permit when the emergency is over so he can return and get to work.

so it means that now he is on work permit and not on the visitor visa anymore..?? and if that is the case he cant exit without the exit permit from the company?

NOC has nothing to do with this, you dont need that, but you need the exit permit. it's to late, it has already been issued by immigration. they dont stamp in passports anymore. its a piece of paper. He will have to ask the company for the need of what's called a "exit for re-entry visa" if he dont want to lose this job.

He will need the company to apply for it. Otherwise, he dont want the job, he can just ask the company for a exit permit and not come back.

As far as i know if work visa is not stamped in passport he doesnt need NOC ......check also other QL comments....
