Dog Grrrrrooming

Have just taken my pooch to The Veterinary Surgery (bin mahmoud area) to be groomed and the woman has made such a mess of it. I could have done it myself. She just shaved him and chopped off all the hair on his face, it is totally uneven. Also they wanted to sedate him, I have never been asked to sedate my dog before by a groomer, this may make their life easier but it's bad for the dog. It took an hour just to do the cut without washing as she was constantly on the phone, unconcerned about my little terrified pooch. Take my advice members don't take your dog there. 150riyals for just cutting, no shampoo and they wanted to sedate for another 150qr!!!!
well i canot blame that lady maybe your dog first time groom or clipping some of dog realy no come down during grooming for me its better to sadate him i have a dog have a regular grooming at that lady but was ok.if you are not happy for here why you dont find some one to do your dog instead to blame that lady....and is not easy to groom animals especialy there are moving a lot.....
Stephanie is the only qualified dog groomer in Qatar and the only one that knows specific breed cuts. She is more expensive but she doesn't sedate and takes the time to work with your dog properly. She can get quite busy so if you want regular trims make sure you book them in advance.
The groomers at the 2 vets are fine if you want your dog shaved but that's all they can do. They don't offer trims or styles - only shaves!

You may try to call stephanie shes a great groomer, although its a little bit expensive I think I paid 250.00 for my shitzu dog. but believed me its worth paying for, she also gives the dogs a bandana and a bag of treats! I will have to take my dogs to her again soon. Let me know if want her number.
