Would someone try to explain me:

How to tell someone, with sugar coated words, How to fasten up those loose recipients inside their own cars, while driving the streets of Doha? That would be, If the tint windows would allow you to see them.

It depends if a short or long trip.

It's all about education, I believe so too.. the sheer lack of it. Aside from it being uncomfortable.. they don't know what it really is for and how a simple seat belt can save lives.

but I think the many commercials or advertisement regarding this issue is enough to educate people regarding seatbelt. I would presume that Physics is already part of all high school curricula so most of the generation now-a-days do understand basic impact momentum theories (even in a little way)

Hahaha funny QS. FYI, that's not me on my avatar and even if it's the last thing, I wouldn't post my pic on this forum. It's a random chick with her skimboard at the beach.

Hmm.. I like the beach and the skimboard. Must it be taken against me?

LOL.

A lot of people understand religion and believe in God right away, when their lives are in jeopardy. But to understand, the physics of momentum is another theological teaching they haven't master at all.

I always use the seatbelts as do my kids, front or back passengers -they all use them. What never ceases to amaze me is the number of front seat passengers who don't use them-and they are usually Arab or Qatari women with babies on their laps-maybe they think the law only applies to the driver.

May your dreams take you travelling all through your life.

Of Course I wear seat belt. Everyone that have seen results after accidents where persons were not wearing seatbelts are wearing it-it's ugly. And using the fine as the reason to wear it is plain stupid. Wearing it should be for your own safety.

Hold on for a minute, besides that you are wearing your seat belt all the time, you forgot to buckle your mouth with a steel plated Muzzle!

Anyhow, I understand that you, did learn to drive in Qatar, since that poor Donkey was your only means of transportation in your homeland.

Talking about progress......LOL

Always.

I have more sense than machismo.

I have brothers and sisters that where hit by other cars.

One by a drunk driver and the othere by a stolen car that was being chased by police.

Both would be dead now if they had no seat belts on.

AND I ALWAYS MAKE MY KIDS WEAR THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hint Hint!

Its the law....So anyone not wearing it is breaking the law,no matter which way yer slice it.

And lets face it, even if it wasnt the law, with the standard of driving out here, yer would be a fool not to !
