Brit: The leaves of the Neem tree is known to have several medicinal properties. For example if a person suffers from chicken pox, the leaves are boiled in water and when the water is just warm enough, one takes a bath with it. It helps in the cure. Also, if an area in the body suffers infection and is swollen, a paste made from Neem leaves and applied to the area acts on the swelling and helps in the cure. These are some old practices I saw from my grandma's times in my part of the world. With modern medicines and demand for fast cures, these practices are now dying out. There may be other uses of the Neem tree and its leaves but I am not aware of them.
