From what i witness every morning on my bycycle at 5.30am, instructor laid back arm over the driver seat, speeding through 50km speed limits, no respect and getting to within 2cm of my handlebars, so no from what i can see of the piss poor standard of teaching and driving no requirements whatsoever, just turn up and hand over the cash!

hi dondee recently i got DL in direct try from alkhor. You have to your Country's DL with you to avail this opportunity. On your country's DL there are 2 free tries.Just go to Alkhor driving school and ask for direct try. They will send you the last room in coridor. Original DL of your country with 2 Passport size pics. The guy will fill a form and will inform you to get the form after approval. may be at that time or after 2,3 hours. and you will choose the date for test. On test day you have to Pay 100 QR for test fee. If you passed the test then the license fee of 250 QR. Total 450 QR

Good Luck
