delivery of new born baby during family visit visa in qatar

Hi
I am a Pakistani national and residing in Qatar and have valid RP/QID. I would like to know that my wife will be commng to Qatar on my Sponsored famiy Visit Visa (at the end of April 2014). My wife is expecting a baby which is due by July 2014. During her stay in Qatar on visit visa if we have a baby then will we face any difficulty due to this, is it normal or a risky situation. I am also not sure if the hospital will admit for labor without an RP of my wife, or Pakistani Embassy will issue passport without mother's RP. Please advice.
Regards,
SK
As long as you have enough money to pay for the delivery, then why not.
It's not cheap but if it's that important to you then just pay the money and enjoy, although maybe it's cheaper for you to fly to Pakistan for the birth.
This is just for your information from my experience:
it's not too complicated to have delivery under family visit visa... after 7 or 8 months of pregnancy, you can start fixing appointments at womens hospital in Doha...for that u need referral from private doctor whom you have been consulting here in private clinics.
Delivery charges are as follows. C-section - 5400 (Cesarean birth), normal - 1000 and room charges - 400 per day.
once delivery is done, you can get birth certificate from womens hospital and then apply for passport from your embassy. there is no problem if your wife doesn't have RP. once passport is issued, go to immigration in garafa and apply for a family visit for your baby...this visa will be valid till your wife's existing visit visa. without visit visa for baby you cannot make exit.
trust above is clear....
Qatar is liberal in medical facilities for its people. but some crooks are exploiting it to regularize their family status. No wonder Qatar is banning visa for some nationals.
Why she has to travel during her 6th month of pregnancy? Is it not your game to have her here for delivery? Nothing but crook way
