Converting from Business Visa to Work VIsa - 2020

Hi,

I'm entering qatar on business visa for a contractual work just before the Covid situation and now the company offered me a permanent position in Qatar. The person responsible in the office for this matter doesn't seems to have much information on this thus I need some help here.

First of all, does the Qatar Government opening the application for a new work visa in the current situation?

If so, what will be the process for converting from business visa to work visa, do I need to exit the country or can I do it in-country, especially with the current convid situation it's really difficult to go out of the country.Thus if there's any possibility of processing it in-country will be really helpful.
