Client Approval

I was contacted for a position in Doha and after a conversation over the phone the company made me a Draft Offer. Once everything was ironed out they submitted my profile to the Client, being Ashghal, I have never dealt with draft employment offers or had to deal with client approvals. Can anyone advise how long approval will take and if the draft offer is a good sign.
Does anyone know how long ashghal normally takes?
syxx: I have friends doing contract work in Oil and Gas. They often use this method. The company / agency will usually agree terms with a few suitable candidates and then put them forward to the client for selection / approval.
Good luck!
Thanks guys much appreciated. It is not often you have someone present you with a draft employment contract, not a practice often used in the West.
Ashghal needs time.
Syxx, i worked in consulting company recently. the company who hired you is the one to provide the employment offer for you. the "client approval" they mentioned is that, it is the company client that has to approve you so the company can finally mobilise you, but the client has nothing to do with the employment offer. the draft eventually can be formalised once the client approve your mobilisation to the the project. i hope it helps
I assume you are will work for a consulting / contracting company. They have identified you for a role with Ashghal and agreed terms. It is now up to Ashghal to accept you or not.
If ashghal does say yes, then they will come up with a formal offer and initiate the process of recruitment.
There are no time scales. Just don't resign your current job till you get the official offer and visa.
