CAR TINTS

As summer approaches one could see plenty of cars flock the car accessories shops for getting their cars tinted. What worries me is the question: Is it legal? If yes whats the percentage of tint allowed under the Qatar traffic law (if there exists any).

Your advice is much appreciated.

Go to Lumar showroom it's behind Teysir Station on salwa road, they should have all info, cause they install it.

front door percentage is 30%

I have seen so many cars etc with tints on the front windscreen - I thought a few years ago the Police had banned this.........

Again it's possibly Qataris who are as far as most other nationalities  here are concerned seem to be 'above' the law.

If driving with tints on the front windscreen and driving at night surely vision is then impaired.

you should take permit from the traffic department

and normal it is for the back windows only

if you are Qatari, just install it and forget the permit

Go down to the traffic police and get the permit first before you tint your car window.
