car loan versus rent a car

I have been here in Qatar for almost 3 months now and I just got my Dubai driving license converted to local driving license and I am in a verge of getting either a rent a car or just get a car and take a car loan from the bank.

I dont know the situation here in Doha but I am torn between two options I mentioned above. And if ever I get a rent a car, I need to know where is the best place to get a good hook up for renting a car.
