My car suddenly stopped working. I came from the hospital and parked my car and then again tried to start.. it does not start..

Battery and Alternator warning lights are on.

It is 2008 model at 73,000 KM gives me a milage 16.4 Km/100

I checked the battery, it is working fine.

What do you think the problem is? Anybody here with the same experience?

Thank you everyone.

Finally I managed to fixed it.

Problem was the burned starter motor.

Replaced it with a new one. It costed me 1800 QR as I returned the old one. Without return it would have cost me 3600.

For labour 500 QR.

Car towing 125 QR.

It really sucks to have a Land Rover here.

If the key has an electronic contact that makes contact with a metal ring on the ignition housing, for security purposes, something in either the key or the ignition switch may be at fault.

Thank you everyone. I tried to jump start the car but it did not help..

Will try to check for the electric fault and immobiliser.. thank you..

Turn ignition switch if you hear a clicking it's generally a flat battery, get a jump start and check the fluid level in the battery, if low use cool boiled water and allow the engine to idle for a few minutes. If you hear nothing it could be the immobiliser or electric fault, and you need a mechanic. Hope this helps

It's seems like the fan belt is broken. Please call some breakdown pick ups and take the car to any nearby workshop.
