Cancellation of working Visa

Good Day to all who will read this. I need a Legal Advise regarding this problem. I have a friend here in Doha her sponsor a saloon company cancelled her working visa last January 2009 for unknown reason. But this friend of mine was still here up to this date without the renewed working visa. My questions are: what is the best way to do so that she can go back to our home Country? What are the legal steps or procedures she must do in order for her to be deported? If there is a fine for overstaying, How much would it cost if she will pay? from January 2009 up to this date? and also, is she will be jailed for that case?
I'm looking forward to hear any suggestions, advise, thanks and Godbless....
Your most welcome joncarr2280. She Should go by now to the Labour Dept and complaINTS. As per advice of my friend which is solicitor if theres some problems like these you should be the one to complaints first. If she have the letter of complaints from the Labour theres no way that the police will catch her as that indicates that you have case on going. Goodluck, hope she will be fine.

u should also consult to some more experience one for better advice,, but dont take tension..
I dont know why she stayed here,if she want to go to her country,, she can report to govt, deptt, they will arrange for her
as my friend had the same problem with her but her case was transfered to the court already, it takes time to finish as theres a lot of case and depends to the workload of the judge handling your case but the usual case last for 6mos. but its worth to wait than going back home without anything in hand and justice coz theyre will be end for this kind sh*t employer.
if she complaint it in the labour dept as the time happens there will be no problem over staying here as it still be responsible of the employer to pay the penalty..

fine for over staying in qatar under a work visa is 10QAR per day.
she can go to Labour Department or problaby go to OWWA for help if he or she is a filipino.
For the time she was cancelled she supposedly reported or complaint to Labour Department in Industrial Area Branch to help her for this matter so atleast the action was implemented. If theres no valid reason of cancellation, written warning or a month notice. she have the right to claims whatever dues to her. if no NOC there should be ticket back home, end of service entity, yearly leave, a month of notice and compensation whatever stated on the contract. She have to seek a good advice from the labour first to make things clear.
