Cancellation of initial/offered work visa (Not travelled to Qatar

Hi friends,

I have received a job offer from Qatar; subsequently an initial work visa issued to me as I accepted the offer. The issued visa has a validity of 6 months (Visa type - Work Yearly Visit, Duration of Residence - 5 Yrs). So far I didn't travel to Qatar and still I am in my home country. Is there any option to cancel this issued visa without approaching sponsor. Also please advise me whether I am eligible to get any another visa when the already issued one is alive.

The visa will expire automatically 6 months after it was issued if you choose not to accept the offer. This is the only way and after this, you can travel to Qatar.
