Canadian student to Qatar

Hi, can anyone give some advice about going to Qatar as a Canadian student? Salary is 140k local and no allowance for accommodation and transportation, also i heard middle east experince doesnt really work outside of the region if i decide to comeback, anyone can give some advice on my situation?
