Can anyone help me on Blackberry Applications

I have BB Bold 9700 and i cant use the BB application world. The message was that its not available in the country or region. I cant even update the version of facebook to v 1.9 as this should have been done in application world.
I am a vodafone subscriber. please help me. i cant enjoy this unit, i want to download games, applications, themes and others.

even the Blackberry Application world is not available in Qatar. but you can still enjoy all what you want from your blackberry like email push accounts upto 10 , blackberry messenger, facebook and twitter. if you dont like the facebook version, use the mobile site for facebook ( http://m.facebook.com ) plus unlimited internet browsing. and u can install 3rd party themes and applications free from several websites. just google what ever u want from your phone browser. and i am sure you will find it. i am having BB Bold 9000 with HALA Blacberry connection. and i am enjoying all the benefits.

will still take years to get on their list.
It doesnt work with Qtel or vodafone.
