Hi All,

I have given my road test 4 times, still I have failed. I recently took a full course in a school and my course got over and still there was no luck in passing. In Automatic vehicles they look for a small mistake you do to make you fail. I think you will never what was that small mistake you have done that made you fail. Can anyone help me pass the test, I have spend lot of money for a license, I know how difficult it is travelling here without a license.

I don't know how they work the test here but heres a few tips from a UK instructor

Adjust your mirrors so you have to move your head to see.

Keep to the speed limit of road if safe to do so.

speed and flow of traffic- if the traffic is moving SLIGHTLY faster than speed limit go with the flow

Mirror Signal Maneuver!

Don't cut lanes

Stay in lane on roundabouts.

If your in a wrong lane take that direction as long as maneuver is safe you can't fail for wrong direction.

Examiners tricks like stopping in dangerous places, going down no entry, read the road signs.

RELAX

and more importantly NEVER GIVE UP :-)

we were on the same shoe! i made my parking test at ease (since alone in the car) and when road test came, ugh i failed! the reason? over speeding!:) i realize that was because i got really nervous and my mind's stuck to "i have police passengers, i have police passengers...." i got paranoid thinking about it and forgot to look up at speedometer! suddenly heared bell on my mind and when i look at my speedometer it says...70 while the limit on that road is 60! i swear i will forever hate that road!lol so the second time i made sure i wouldn't think of them as police but as a friend who just want to see my driving skills. and i made it! yey! :))

You have got some good tips from the QL members. I would like to add some more.

1. Adjust the rear view mirror. Just adjusting the rear view mirror gives an impression that you use it.

2. While buckling up your seat belt, check that the inspector has buckled his seat belt too. Remember, it is the responsibility of the driver.

3. Drive at the maximum permited speed limit. Do not drive slow. You will beholding up traffic. Never over speed. For this you will have to watch out for the speed limit road signs.

4. See the road signs painted on the roads. They are as important as the road signs on the post.

All the best.

I understand. I have trained many of my students, I am giving you an expert advise. Note:

1) You are not using mirrors. You have to do some acting as if you are watching, left, right and central mirrors.

Don't sit glued to the seat like a statue.

2) Obey traffic rules not the Trafic inspector on your right seat. He will try to make you do wrong, by trying to park infront of a gate, park at no parking, tell you to increase speed, enter into no entry and the like. I mean you should politely explain the situation that it is no entry, no parking etc. Even a driving school teacher failed due to obeying the test inspector.
