Cabin crews, HELP!!
Hi everone! Need to know more abt cabin crews issues.
Ive just went for my pre employment medical and tentatively set to leave for doha in mid jan as a cabin crew.
i've wanted to be a cabin crew for the longest time but am so confused now as i have just stumbled upon forums and they all have something negative to say abt QR.
Basically i can live with staying in after 10pm rules. But am abit troubled by the fact that we cant stay out on our day offs. Am leaving my girlfriend and family behind. So if i cant stay out on my day offs...how can i spend time with my gf and family? Anyone faced the same prob. Can we leave doha on our day off like fly off to a nearby destination for a short break to meet up with ppl?
How do you existing and ex crews manage this?

thanks for the input guys..but it will really help if an existing crew can really tell me more before i make my final decision.

Even at QA no equal rights???
I think they are not that strict on male cabin crew.. for the female cabin crew they have certain rule that have to be comply. (hhmmm... skanky you know a lot about their curfew hours eh. hehehehe.. no offense man)

You can flight out of the country in your days off.
You can go out after 10 Pm but u must come back before 3:00 am (But u can break this rule)
No visitors after 10pm.
I dont work for them...

I was thinking of applying too but what i have read so far is not good at all and more knowing what is happening to the girls there.
