Buying a second hand car

Hello

I am looking to buy a car (4x4) in Doha and everybody has warned me against getting a second hand one? Firstly are all the horror stories about 4x4's being ran across the desert ruining them accurate? Secondly has anyone got any advice about buying a second hand car in Doha?

All, many thanks for your responses. I aim to move to Qatar in Oct and will investigate the opportunities further then.

hi. i have a black full option Nissan Qashqai which is like new, maintainenance done regularly which I am selling.
