I brought an Airtel receiver along with me during my last vacation on jan 2015 coz as per Moziac service, Indian community means only mallu channels.. Well no body had stopped me at the airport but I don't know the rules now. You will have to purchase a big dish which will cost you around 500/- Qr (with installation)

Please do not follow what some people say at Qatar Living. They write for the sake of writing even if that means misguiding someone. Possibly, they drive some pleasure from this.

The item you plan to bring to Qatar is something people don't commonly bring with them when they come here. As such most people may not be aware of the rules on bringing in such items. Suggest you contact some cargo companies who may know the rules better or the Qatar embassy in your country.
