No, but they will give you snacks, beside why do you ask for a reward? If you want to help or do something to others never expect in return. do it with open arms and GOD will take care of you.

it doesn't matter what kind of blood type you belong. as long as your willing to donate, it will highly appreciated..

FYI..

blood donation is very good for our body, the count of blood cells decreases in our body, which stimulates the bone marrow to produce new red blood cells in order to replenish the loss. So, it stimulates the production of new blood cells and refreshes the system and may reduce the risk of heart disease..

Blood Donation giving the wonderful feeling of saving someone's life.

It is a fantastic initiative. There was a request for blood for a patient waiting for surgery last year. I rushed to the blood bank with the details of the patient and they refused to take my O- blood because I had visited India in the last 6 months.

I was told people who had travelled to India, Pakistan, Nepal etc had to wait 6 months before they made a blood donation!

QV blood donation campaign a couple of week back. Good turn out at Blood Bank but many couldn't donate because of the one of the mentioned reasons.

and unfortunately among the potential donors none were of this rare blood group.
