Best bank for an expat for savings and loan
Hello friends,
first let me apologise if I'm repeating a common question.
i'm a newly arrived expat in Qatar, working for the qatar airways.
can anyone pls suggest me a good bank to open a savings account ? I may need a get a bank loan later so I appreciate if you can suggest a bank with convinient loan facilities as well (im not a very high salary receiving employee)
also, can I operate accounts at two banks in Qatar ? Or is there a maximum number of accounts I can keep ?

I know this post is 7 months old. But if you can help me, i am an expat and was given a Current Account at CBQ by my employer where my salary is credited. But what are the pros or cons of having a current account versus savings account. Thank you.

Check Doha bank if income less than 6000 per month
If more than 6000... go to QNB, QIB
All banks in Qatar provide good service to their customers and when it comes to salaried employees, there is not much difference among them. One way to decide is to go for a bank where your company has an account as in that way your salary gets transferred quicker.
It is surprising to note that you have hardly settled in at your new environment and you are planning to take a bank loan!
