are there options... is it legal

hi guys,

I wanted to know are there any personal loan companies or people that make loans to people OUTSIDE of the bank?

Is this legal? I need a short term loan of a small amount and not sure if there is this option here or not. I seen some ads but i want be be sure its not a scam.

thank you for your input i thought as much but wanted to be sure. Next question WT is it legal? aside from these ones being scams? as far as ive read up its illegal?
