Apollo Clinic
Just been to Apollo Clinic for my kids this Friday morning (near Muntaza Park area). Found it very nice and pleasant. The Filipina lady at the reception was extremely helpful.
Treatment costs are bit expensive compared to other private clinics but you pay for what you get. Excellent doctor though.

samir, sorry to hear about ur experiences at Apollo ...Grrrrrrr.. anyway i feel some problems are arising from bad managment at Apollo..maybe yhey r making the docs work harder to make more money for the clinic...and poor standards and hygeine in the process.
next time u r at that clinic, make enquiries about how the managment is towards the staff there.
very true first impressions do count..its highly unlikely that its changed, wouldnt want to risk it anyway..
but for me 1st impression is last expression always !

eeeeww using the same instruments without cleaning, thats disgusting and this is a private hospital? Thanks for the warning.

about the instrument I agree with you they don't clean and i am a person who in the 1st meeting can tell the depth of the person .. he was not a professional dentist .. also on the spot i asked the assistant about the uncleaness of the dental surgerical items and he said he just came to day other person might have forgotton to clean ...
After that i never went to that clinic again !

it all started with consultation thing ...
3 guys waiting then there he comes ?Dentist and he immediately asked the 3 of us to go inside together.
I came last so I waited for this 2 guys to finish first. He examined us one by one with the same instruments... I thought that time they have a lot in a tray thats why they're not removing after used by other patient. I only noticed it when finished already examined by this Dentist, I take a look at all the instruments... its all the same mannn I whisper whats this clinic...male dentist with a lot gold in his body, huge ring and bracelet and looks like funky one. I dont know his name , his room at the last one to the right side if you are coming from reception at the dental area.
He gave appointment but the same story I have waited until all the patients finished...whats the use of appointment then??????????
Finally I went home and on the way he called me up I said get all the patients and dont ever give appointment to anyone because it has no meaning to you. The next day I called AXA for this and you know what I was already charged by Appolo! surprisingly.
Anyway they returned the payment to AXA after I called them up with my complaints and dissatisfaction . grrrrrrrrrrr I can still remember the thing they put in my mouth to check my teeth with the same instruments used for other guys ahead of me.
This is part of Appollo marketing strategy
I rememeber in some other thread people were blaming QL minting money from ads ... what about when others digging golds from QL ?
