The technicians who checked his car advised the compressor needed to be replaced and THEY stated the cost of the original one would be around QR 5000. They are in this line of business. It is only this basis I just guessed the cost of the Altima may be a bit higher. Did you see me giving him the cost of the other items? The answer is NO! Why are you lying to this guy , I have a nissan altima as well , and i just replaced my brand new air condition compressor brand new from the agent for 2500 ? + 300 for labor charge? WHY ARE YOU LYING TO HIM ??? WHY LIE TO THIS GUY ? WHAT DID HE DO TO YOU?
and if you get commercial parts , it will cost 2250 with labor included

Since you are looking forward to change the clutch, you will most likely need to change the pressure plate also and you should check this out with your mechanic. Bunny, you are right. Some cars have a timing chain, and others have a timing gear.
The price for new compressors is around $300, about QAR 1,000. Even if you add 100% profit margin it still would cost only QAR 2,000.
