Advice on Video cutter

Hi friends..... I wanna edit my wedding video into smal scenes so that I can upload in youtube. But i tried in Movie Maker to upload but since it was in VLC media player Format, it failed to do so. Plz advice me for any software which can be used for this.

How about trying video cutter for mac (https://www.joyoshare.com/video-cutter-mac/) and windows tool? It can support save your video to YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, etc.
