ADVICE PLEASE

Good day to all! I need help from those who knows the legal system here in Qatar. I need to know how many months or days grace period after the expiry of my PATAKA (REsidence Permit). My sponsor is personal from the ruling family of this country and not Company sponsored. As I resigned from my job I want to know the days of grace period to avoid penalty. Thanks to all...My residence permit will get expired Feb. 13, 2017, could i stay another 3 months after that? Thanks again.

There is a grace period of three months after the expiry of the Qatar ID. After that, there is a penalty of QR 10 per day from the first day of expiry which increases to QR 20 per day from the second month onwards.

By the way, the word is "Bataqa" and not "Pataka".
