ADSL problem - Help please

I am having problem with ADSL connection...
every 10 minutes the line disconnects
Among the 4 lights in the Black Modem ( Speedtouch ) the second from left, is showing RED means the connection gone. Then we disconnects the cable and reconnects it works.
- what is the real problem ...Do I have to change the Modem ?
- Is a Modem to be changed every year ?.I took ADSL connection last year and QTEL suppplied this modem

sorry , i forgot to mention that i had already appraoched QTel, but they could not guide me "step by step". They wanted me to purchase new modem from Villagio for 180 QR....
-Is it necessary to change ?
-Within one year one has to change the modem ?
-Is this happening to any other QL member ?

You have to call Qtel and they will guide you with every step and every detail.
