Hey guys.....need some help here...

Me planning to get a new 4x4.

Thinking of Nissan Patrol (Type 2). - 2008 model

But i heard 2007 model is better, in appearance, etc, and cheaper.

Which do you think is better? Should i go for 2008 model or 2007?

By the way, what say abt Toyota Prado?

Thanks in advance.

Better consider the Pajero. Fits well into the budget

How can u compare a prado with Nissan Patrol??? Nissan Patrol is much better than land crusier in alot of ways. It's much cheaper than land cursier, it looks better than the new ugly shape of land crusier and i think it has better features and comfort. Land crusiers are just plain ordinary 4x4's with no good feature except for abs and Airbags.

Go for the 2007 Nissan patrol.

It's always the small things that make big differences.

I would suggest you go for da Nissan Patrol, dam neat and really a strong suspensions its got. If i had da money, i would have one by now. I have a Pajero and its also a good car off road sand driving, but not that much of feeling as to what a Nissan Partol has. Nissan Patrol is all time Better.... Go for that Car dude....

Cheers and happy sand bashing

well if u want a PURE desert car, then u shud go for nissan patrol, 2 door with balloon tyres. but i found out tht the 2008 model nissan patrol, 2 door, comes in manual transmission only, which is really inconvenient. however, the 4 door nissan patrol, 2008, is really good.

but if u want ALLROUNDER, then land cruiser is the car for you. land cruiser comes in GX, GX.R and VX.R

if u want a lighter engine for the desert, then go for the GX.R. If u dont mind having a slightly heavier engine which might not be THAT good for the desert compared to the GX.R, then VX.R is the car for you.

now if you want a car that is not really made for the desert, but still can be taken, then Lexus is the car for you. It is the top of the line in Toyota.

Toyota Prado is a good car, but I reccommend that you go for a land cruiser.

There are some American cars that are also excellent.

for instance, the new Cadillac Escalade is a very good car, and really fulfills the heart. Escalades tend to be quite expensive, so one step down is the Yukon DENALI, this is also very good, has almost the same features as the Escalade does, very impressive. If that may be too much, then a step lower is the normal Yukon, again very impressive.

You also have the Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, which are quite similiar to the Cadillac and Yukon.

The awesome American cars that I have mentioned, come in two sizes, the normal size, and the extended. The extende is quite long and is the perfect choice for a larger family since it has more area.

Hope this little information will help you with the choice of your car.

thanx buddy for your advice..

but , i actually dropped landcruiser coz the basic model itself is around 130 to 140 QR.  and my budget is 150 QR.

Now when i buy a car, i dont want to buy a basic version of that model! ;)
