Airtel SIM not working

My Airtel mobile SIM was working for the past 8 years. Suddenly it stopped working. It is vital to have the Airtel SIM to receive bank OTP and many more services such as Aadhaar etc.
I started to explore and found the answer as follows: Go to Mobile data setting of the Airtel SIM, select the Carrier (choose network provider) in manual (not auto) and select as Ooredoo 3G or Ooredoo (prohibited) in some mobiles. During the process disable Data roaming, 4G and Volte and keep WiFI Calling enabled.
The Airtel SIM mobile signal will start to work again.

Hi everyone.. I have got a solution for you try this.

I got the same issue (not able to find Airtel network) in Qatar, I had faced this problem sometimes when I changed any sim cards. Don't panic and be patient.

Remove your sim card slot, restart your phone, and reset your mobile network settings.. Don't rush wait atleast 30 secs. Then insert your sim card slot to your mobile.. You will get Ooreedo-Airtel network if not search manually.. I have done this and it worked for me. Hope it will work everyone.

Hi Friends,

My sim is not since November 2021 in Qatar. I tried many ways to resolve but still not working. Sent multiple mails to Airtel but they are unable to give exact answer expect fall commitment.

Trying to get register by following the internet available steps, it is showing " Your SIM doesn't allow to register".

Anyone please guide.

I managed to recharge one year data pack as they removed all but the min charge to 99rs w/o sms which wont help as some said here. Then i switched to manual mode for network selection as well. But right now when i tried , its not even picking the signal on two different phones. Pls confirm if anyone reached this stage and resolved, also if possible to port to another provider for better and minimum free service for atleast incoming sms.

I am using the same and i will recharge 1 year package or you need to recharge on every month... Sim should be with validity....

Airtel need recharge every month validity of 30 days if no recharge your sim will disconnect
