The wonders of Azadirachta indica - Neem Tree
I cannot even begin to list the benefits this plant (or rather tree) seems to offers. Called the Village Pharmacy by Indians, this tree has been used for centuries to heal and prevent a enormous list of ailments.
The reason I mention this amazing tree, is that in spite my awareness on natural and alternative therapies, I only discovered this plant a few days ago, when my husband mentioned to his friend that our daughter has chicken pox. His friend grabbed some branches of his tree, and told us to boil them in water, allow to cool and strain and then bathe her with the infusion twice a day.
Because I had never heard of this plant before, I decided to look it up and low and behold, it truly helps!
Apparantly it can be seen growing here in various places, but I'd like to find a store that can sell it to me fresh when needed. Do any of you know where I can get it???
