You better watch out! You better not cry!

You better not pout, I'm telling you why....
WHY?
Christmas is just around the corner. In fact it is next month and to us Pinoys it is the biggest and longest season of all.
So why don't we, QL Filipino Expats Group, celebrate it and at the same time host a despedida to those members leaving Qatar for good ?

We are planning to have a QL PINOY EXPATS CHRISTMAS PARTY on December 14 a Friday because after that some members are leaving for vacation (ex. me). Time is still open for suggestion.

Venue is still open since our usual venue for occassions is currently closed for renovation under new strict management. :(
Some suggestion is to rent out a restaurant for 2 to 3 hours (like Royal or Puerto or Central cafe). Any ideas or people willing to have their abode thrashed for 3 hours? (joke!)

Fees for the party (food and venue) will be collected one week before the party. Non-payment means you are off limits and you will not be allowed in the venue. Gate-crashers will be crashed at the gate (joke again!). Seriously we need to have you at least pay for what you will be eating.

We will have an EXCHANGE GIFT. No gifts below 50QR please and no cash on an envelope. If you want to be generous and give a more expensive gift (ex. diamond ring or rolex) it's up to you but don't fret or go into tantrums if you receive a gift of lesser value than what you gave. Also, this will be a STEALING EXCHANGE GIFT to be sure you don't receive your gift. Mechanics will be posted in the coming days.

Any comments? additional suggestions?

So let's celebrate, rekindle old flames, share the love and joy of the season... what do you think?

PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR ATTENDANCE BY GIVING YOUR CONTRIBUTION FOR THE FOOD AND VENUE TO OWEN. THANKS!
