Just wanna share the rewards of volunteerism… Volunteers make a difference by contributing their time, energy, and talents to the causes they hold dear.
Upon knowing how great our humble start resulted to, I cant really believed that our lil initiatives had turn out to such overwhelming testimonies from the beneficiaries…
It was only started on chats. Of course becoz of just being away from our homeland, there is the longingness to find somebody to converse with our very own sweet vernacular language. So… that was the start.
We did chatting in a conference just finding joy within each others company, sharing stories, recalling past experiences, about our life, our downfalls, our triumphs and of course the joy and fun of the early years is what makes the bond alive even in nowhere part of the globe we are in today. And until one day we were able to talk about our hometown. And here the ideas of our initiatives came in.
We call ourselves “THE GREAT SONS and DAUGHTERS of our hometown, our beloved NORALA and put up an association.
An Association created by YOUNG AND MATURED INTELLECTUALS OF NORALA for the purpose of REVIVING, UPLIFTING, and RE-AWAKEN the SPIRIT of our town, NORALA,South Cotabato. This association is also created for the general welfare and benefit of NORALA COMMUNITY through organizing relevant activities and programs. Voluntarily joining this association signifies the GREATNESS of every SONS and DAUGHTERS OF NORALA whose sincerity to support and participate in all relevant programs and activities, the association may undertake is of their own choice and will. Truly we hereby envision an Association of the people of NORALA, by the people of NORALA, and for the people of NORALA."
We just simply agreed to select from the Manila based members forming a Core-group team to spearhead our activities and projects.
Today, I was so much delighted knowing that our humble beginnings were materialized… With more visions on hand, some projects had been started, part of it are all comes the goodwill of every member who participated in the group…
“Adopt a Student Project was the first big drive steering our hearts with so much joy upon after realizing it. With 80 elementary students adopted from 7 schools in this current school year enrollment, made us to render our volunteerism as ever loyal and enthusiastic as it is…
