Meningococcemia
Received an email from a friend and just wanto to confirm in the group whether the story is true or false. I have a son who's only 2 years old and as confirmed they do not offer the vaccine for it here in Qatar.
"(hid the name) from HEIDER Consulting told me the story.
Anyway, its her officemates 6-8 months baby boy who died last January 2, around 11 am approx.
On January 1, 7 pm they treat the baby with Adol before rushing it to the Childrens Emergency located in Al Saad. Nurses from the centre treated the baby with droplets ( paracetamol, ,,,i guess ??? ) to lower the babys' temp. Then they were successful by that and seems everything ok...ofter sometimes while still admitted in the hospital , nakita nila yung oily thing and rushes coming out from the babys skin.....the yun ...Childrens Emegency Hospital transfer the baby sa HAMAD, then after 4-7 hours they declared the baby dead...
It took them 2 days to confirm it was Meningococcemia."
