We will be moving to Doha in September and I need to find a very academic secondary school which follows a British curriculum as my daughter will be starting her GCSE's (IGCSE's). All suggestions welcome.

Thank you.

Thanks for all you help. I will be calling Doha College and Qatar International School tomorrow and hope for the best.

Assuming your company will be paying for your daughter's education, I would suggest Doha College. It's got a good reputation and the grades are above UK standards (like QIS)

Please note, places fill up fast and there may be long waiting lists (as with most popular schools). If you do want your daughter to go to Doha College, I suggest you apply soon for the September intake.

Good luck!

Qatar International is a good option http://www.qis.org

Their students also scored good on the IGCSE examinations, check the following: http://www.gulf-times.com/site/topics/article.asp?cu_no=2&item_no=314821&version=1&template_id=36&parent_id=16#
