Is there free education in Qatar?

I am a Filipino and

have a job offer in Qatar and wanting to bring my family with me.Is there free education for my kids ranging 6 and 5 years old?please reply...thanks...

depends on the company which employs u for work.

Most "Q" companies provide education for kids of their employees in their own community school.

well if u working in a govt company or a semi-Govt den ya u can send ur kids to the independant schools over here....N it will b free education just 500 per year of books & transportation but if u working for a private company den just leave ur kidooos back home:)

Like the previous answerer I also think free education is only for Qatari citizens. Arabic is the language of instruction for them.

If you are looking for a Philippine curriculum, please look for information about PSD and PIS -- these are the two Filipino private schools in Doha. There are also other private schools with international, American or British curriculums. Enrollment in any of these will require regular tuition payments.

I believe that education in Qatar is only free for Qataris.
