School says its mandatory to send Children on Saturday!

Would you send your child to school on a Saturday (regular school timings) for 4 saturdays in a row if the school says its Mandatory?
After vacations, the school delayed reopening as they did not complete some formalities. Now they say its mandatory to send our children from 7:15 am to 2:00 pm for 4 saturdays in a row!!!!!!
No offense taken :-). All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, we've heard this many times in our childhood and I totally agree with this. I cant say my children love school but they do like the blessing of having to go to school. However I dont think its right to deprive them of rest they duly deserve on a Friday and Saturday. For us, fridays are packed with time for God so they basically get only a Saturday to catchup on homework, play a little, study for their weekly Sunday test and get some family time. The school has not asked them to come for just one Saturday but for 5 saturdays in a row!!!!!! Don't you think their little brains will get burnt out?
So, I decided not to send my children and I hear that even many children in grade 10 do not go.
I am a parent of the school you are talking about.
Well we all are human beings, anyone can do mistakes. Smile and do it willingly, your child has enjoyed more holiday as well that also in the summer, now the weather is better.
Yes your child will loose his days plus the knowledge he gains. All the staff are working and why not us in fact some of the staff of school have worked day and night during the shifting etc.,.
Kids have a lot of fun at school and these days they prefer friends more than parents company.
Dont worry things will be fine. Time flies fast.
No offense to you please.
Regards,
we have sent as this loss of education for our child only.
