Hi everyone,

Another urgent one I'm afraid! I am finalising my move to Doha from London only to discover that most big British curriculum schools inDoha do NOT offer German as a GCSE option!! Except for Doha College which has a waiting kist of about three miles :-)
My son is 14 and starts GCSE in September he's already written German down as his COMPULSORY foereign language. His knowledge of French is nonexistent :-( The whole move is now about to collapse :-(
If any parents faced the same dilemma when moving from the UK can you shed some light on how you dealt with it? Can we find private tutors for German? But even if that is possible....where and how is my son going to be formally examined for GCSE? Please help I'm really panicking now!

I belive that You can do the IGCSE not GCSE in doha at British Council. Please contact them and they will order the papers for you. Or maybe he can do the exam in Doha College with the exam fees.

Regarding the study I may advice.
