Can i be a Accountant ?

Hi every one ,

Assalamalaikum

Myself Hussain Indian male 39 working here in doha with a reputed local company with sales dept from last 6 mnths,before i worked in KSA with the same dept nd i have 15 yrs experience as a sales executive. But from the start of my carrer i wanna be a accountant  but due to some circumstances i cnt nd im a discontinued commerce graduate. I know basic accounting nd i can operate computer.

My question is... 

Can i work as a Accountant as i dont have experience nd qualifications reqd .

Pl help me ,,,

Sure you can , If you can make balance sheet to prove 2+2=5 if needed

........ ha ha.........

Unfortunatly in middleeast Job, not required specific qualification, and any once can do any type of job unless, nothing get wrong.

I dont think it is so easy at your age even if you go for a training. You worked in Sales for long and without a proper academic qualification and experience nobody will take you to the post of an Accountant. You want to be an Accountant is your wish and it could have been possible 15 years back and not now. There are plenty of Commerce Graduates, Post Graduates and even CA certificate holders available for that. It might be possible in a small organization who will not pay more than Qr. 3000 per month if you can do the job.

Of course, you can.

Just get some Accounting training and learn Accounting Software.

its very where you going to work. if it is large firm i think you can't.
