I heard that in Doha we have three types of schools, governmental, private and independant. Is this right? and how much each would cost for a grade 1 student (lower rates and average rates). Thanks.
As far as cost is concerned, issue is not as simple as three type of schools. As far as I know, government schools are free. I have no idea about independent schools. However, as far as private school sare concerned, cost varies from QR 3600 per year to QR 75000 per year depending on which school you are considering. Most expensive being American School of Doha and cheapest being some of Indian and Pakistani schools. British, Canadian and Tunisian/Jordanian schools come somewhere is between.
