Just came from MegaMart, bought a lot and spent A LOT of money! Onken (Biopot) is great, and so is Yeo; due to the rediculous price, the cats will not be allowed to have it. :-)
I recently tried full fat laban (al rawabi) and love it.
Thanks for the info, I'll try that almarai lebneh. I have tried the Lebanese one, it is very delicious, but it is very creamy. On the other side, the full fat yogurts I bougth are not creamy enough.
I see on Google that Mega Marts are quite far from me; I stay close to Villagio. Which one do you recommend?
And yes, if I don't get right, I'll sure be making my own!
almarai yogurt is delicious, but frankly, it taste more like cream than yogurt.
u can always make ur own yogurt: boil milk, let it cool down , and just add a small amount of already made yogurt, and wait for some hours at room temperature (no AC). the result is yogurt (laban). put the yogurt in a cloth bag to allow excess water to leak out for half a day: u get ur greek yogurt (labneh)
The closest to Greek yogurt is labneh, the thick cream cheese like dip sold in tubs. Go for the full fat version. You have the fresh ones to be eaten asap or the ones that can be kept for months. Al Marai and Ulker(Turkish brand) do great ones. Hope I helped!

It's been over a year since this post was written. Has there been any changes since then?
Where can Greek Yogurt be found in Qatar?
I really hope we'd get Light and Fit Greek yogurt in the market sometime soon. It's so good! =(

Biopot at MegaMart. That is, if you don't mind spending 24 QR for yoghurt!

I think Al Marai Labneh is better in taste than Ulker.
