Hi Saadejaz

It's not easy making new friends in a foreign place but I've found that the best bet is to be as open to getting to know people as possible, and gradually you'll build up a network of friends from locals to expats to those just passing through.... Join a club, take up a hobby (as Jerri suggested above) and get yourself out there. If you are shy, I can imagine it's much more difficult, but staying at home won't help. Just smile and be friendly and before you know it you'll have some genuine friends. Best of luck!

Well would seem like this maybe a good place to start. Hopefully a few will respond and you might meet a few people. But beyond that, to meet people you have to get out and do things. Have any hobbies, you might look for groups that share your interests and so on.

I wish you every luck.
