hey

That would be perfect to treat myself for a Thai food followed by a Thai Massage...( only if there is one right next door )

I am cramming and finding my way around Doha...but as soon as I get my car this week. It shouldnt be a problem...thanks!

Ollie, you go down C-ring Road from Markhiya almost to the Ramada junction. When you see Toys'R'Us take the slip road (bear right) and then turn right onto Al Nasr (it has a sign.) Go about half a block and look for Thai Snack on your left. Cheap and cheerful and stay for a massage next door!

Newbie,

Thank you for that suggestion....I almost hop into the idea of Qatindo coz it sounds authentic...I have to scout the best souteast asian restos coz i have few guests coming too who love those kind of food...

I am living in Markhia and how far are those restos from my area?

hey ollie,

qatindo sucks.....u may want to try "minang indonesian restaurant" which is the best indonesian food near mushereib or "central" near to ras abu abboud.

as for thai, thai snacks is the best and its located at frij al nasr about 150 meters from behind hardees.

Qatindo is also supermarket and they sale indofood ready mix spice for nasi goreng, why dont you buy that and make nasi goreng at home. just make the white rice, add some fried eggs/shrimp/sausage and spring onion and mix it all with the indofood ready mix nasi goreng.

Everybody is right everybody is wrong, it depend where you stand

for thai go to thai snack/amjad restaurant in al sadd. they are good and cheap. For Indonesian go to Qatindo restaurant at the gold souk, behind the ferrari showroom just ask people where exactly when you there.

good luck.
